The Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (formerly Anambra State University) was established in 2000 by the Anambra State Law, No 13, 2000 which was amended as Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Law. 2014. It inherited the assets and liabilities of the defunct Anambra State Polytechnic, Uli and the Anambra State College of Agriculture, Igbariam.
The University strives for excellence and is fast becoming one of the best Universities in Nigeria is committed to the production of high-level manpower and is involved in cutting edge research and community service to achieve national development goals with global relevance. Currently, the University has three Campuses in Uli, lgbariam and Awka, with thirteen (13) Faculties and a Teaching Hospital.

Requirements
- Interested candidates must be trained security personnel, preferably from the Nigerian Police, Army, and Navy; not below the rank of Superintendent of Police (SP) or its equivalent.
- Retired trained security personnel from the Police, Army and Navy are qualified to apply.
- The candidate should possess, at least, the WASCE / GCE (O/L) in 4 subjects obtained at a sitting or 5 subjects obtained at 2 sittings with at least a pass in the English Language.
