Position Overview

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Head to lead our Human Resources department. The HR Head will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations, along with excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives.
  • Oversee the entire HR function, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, training, and development.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Lead recruitment efforts by collaborating with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions.
  • Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives to foster a positive work culture.
  • Manage employee relations issues, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
  • Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans.
  • Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, including safety regulations and labor union agreements.
  • Oversee compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and fairness.
  • Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports to assess the effectiveness of HR initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead and mentor the HR team, providing guidance and support to facilitate their professional growth and development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or HR certification preferred.
  • Tangible years of progressive HR experience, including at least a few years in a leadership role.
  • Deep understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives that drive business results.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
  • Experience working in the manufacturing industry, preferably in the steel or related sector, is a plus.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and other HR software.
