Job Title: Intern
Location: Abuja (FCT)

Intern at Factory Irisii International
Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the project manager at Factory Irisii, the duties of the Intern may include, but not be limited to:
- Assist the development teams and project manager to design and develop software solutions and assist in:
- Designing, recommending and pitching improvements to new and existing features.
- Troubleshooting issues on web-based systems.
- Designing client-side and server-side architecture.
- Building the front-end of applications through appealing visual design.
- Troubleshooting, debugging and upgrading software.
- Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues.
- Updating and editing website content, posts and pages.
- Providing technical support related to web-based systems to internal teams.
- Testing and giving feedback on new and existing technologies.
- Creating prototypes and experimenting with new technologies and features as assigned.
- Work together with the scrum team to design and develop software solutions.
Requirements
- 1 – 3 years work experience
- Basic experience with frontend web development and/or frontend mobile app development using React and React Native
- Good attention to detail
- Basic experience with backend development using Node.js, Express is an added advantage
- Basic experience with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL and UML tools is an added advantage
- Team spirit, strong communication skills
- Good time-management skills
- Strong desire to expand programming skills.
