Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary
- The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for ensuring reliable operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of mechanical equipment and utilities within the manufacturing facility.
- The role focuses on minimizing downtime, improving equipment efficiency, and ensuring safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on industrial mechanical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues on hydraulic and utility systems.
- Ensure smooth operation of utility equipment including compressors and chillers.
- Oversee installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections, condition monitoring, and equipment performance checks.
- Plan and execute repairs, overhauls, and replacement of mechanical components.
- Support execution of mechanical projects and plant improvement initiatives.
- Conduct risk assessments and hazard analysis related to mechanical operations.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and plant compliance requirements.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection logs, and equipment history.
- Prepare clear reports on equipment performance, failures, and downtime.
Minimum Requirements (Must-Have)
- B.Eng or HND in Mechanical Engineering or closely related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Strong experience in mechanical maintenance, hydraulics, and utilities.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve plant mechanical issues.
- Experience working with maintenance schedules and condition monitoring.
Added Advantage:
- Experience working with textile machines or FMCG manufacturing plants.
- Exposure to compressors, chillers, and utility systems.
- Knowledge of safety systems and industrial best practices.

- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
- Strong understanding of themarket and consumer behavior.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
