Job Title: Head – Risk, Audit & Assurance

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • The position is responsible for ensuring internal audit, risk management, and compliance activities are closely aligned with global best practices in executing the duties across the Company’s business and financial operations.

Responsibilities

  • The role holder will ensure roles, responsibilities, and results are efficiently coordinated and optimized to ensure the effectiveness of internal audit, risk management, and control matters.
  • Lead Internal Audit’s change initiatives by implementing action plans related to risk assessment and annual audit planning, audit execution, audit reporting, audit staff recruiting and development, audit technology, and Board reporting.
  • Oversee the execution of individual audits defined in the audit plan ensuring the highest level of service quality and client satisfaction.
  • Obtain approval of the risk-based annual audit plan from the Board.
  • Issue all Internal Audit reports ensuring the reports are clear, concise, identify root causes with practical solutions, and ultimately provide value to management.
  • Meet regularly with the Board to report the status of Internal Audit’s ongoing monitoring activities, educate/inform the Board of emerging risks and/or exposures
  • (whether internal or external to the company) that should be considered, and serve as a “thought leader” with respect to risk management and internal control best practices.
  • Manage the process to track, follow-up, and ultimately close all open audit issues leveraging the Board, if necessary.
  • Oversee Internal Audit’s participation in critical business and technology initiatives and projects ensuring that the audit’s perspective is effectively voiced and appropriate controls are designed and implemented on a proactive basis.
  • Maintain audit technology platform leveraging support from the information systems group as needed.
  • Coordinate the activities of external auditors including how best to leverage the work performed and results produced from Internal Audit’s work
  • Actively participate in executive management meetings and/or committees to ensure that Internal Audit is well-informed of key business developments that could have an impact on audit priorities and/or plans.
  • Ensure that Internal Audit is performing its work in accordance with established professional standards and remain abreast of emerging trends and best practices that can be incorporated into the function.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years External Audit expereince in a reputable firm
  • Minimum of 5 years in mutual benefits or investment banking environment
  • This is a mid-level managment role with a reporting line to a CFO
  • ACCA is a MUST
  • 10 years cummulative work experience is a MUST

Job Title: Corporate Sales Executive

Job Description

  • The Corporate Sales Executive is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with corporate customers in the tyre market to gain patronage.
  • The individual must have must have past experience in sales of heavy machinery and paint, spare parts and batteries with secondary sales. with a good network base in the B2B sphere.
  • Manage accounts through the full sales lifecycle beginning with business development, prospecting and requirements definition through contract negotiations, signing, and post-sales support.
  • Act as the single point of contact for partner and direct customers and assume accountability and responsibility for escalation of issues to appropriate departments and personnel
  • Participate in weekly activity and pipeline review calls, provide activity, and account updates as requested.
  • Scout and develop new business leads across the various needing industries .
  • Set, track and achieve/exceed sales, adoption and engagement targets, aligned with company objectives, over 3-monthly periods.
  • Accelerate customer adoption through education and engagement.
  • Be the trusted partner and the single point of contact for accounts and coordinate the activities that help them achieve and experience long-term success with the company’s value propositions.
  • Contribute to the creation and leveraging of marketing assets.
  • Capture client feedback and transfer/explain it to the service teams.
  • Monitor and analyze sales, adoption and engagement metrics.
  • Suggest actions to improve sales and engagement performance and identify opportunities for growth.

Requirements

  • 2-4+ years of demonstrable track record in a Business-to-Business (B2B) Sales or Account manager capacity; Having successfully sold to multinational companies will be an added advantage.

Required Skills:

  • Hands on experience in client engagement and an ability to deliver high-touch VIP customer service.
  • Experience in sales and engagement performance metrics and how to act on them.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and closing skills.
  • High, positive energy and an ability to orchestrate and sustain a rich cadence of client activities, such as on-site presentations sessions, webinars, etc.
  • Analytic skills and ability to work hands-on with data is a strong asset
  • Willingness to travel.

Salary
N150,000 – N200,000 / month.
