Job Title: AADL Engineer – Backend

Job Description

  • As a Backend software developer/Engineer, you will interact with the engineering team to solve problems and build, extend, optimize and refactor the back-end architecture of our growing products. This will involve working on our existing codebase along with new projects.

Academic Qualifications and Experience

  • B.E / B.Tech in Computer Science or Information Technology with Demonstrated experience of 5+ years in Backend – Java development.
  • Proficiency in Computer Science fundamentals – object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm – design, and complexity analysis.
  • Experience in developing RESTful APIs.
  • Strong understanding on both Monolithic and Micro Services architectures. Hands-on experience in developing and deploying Micro Services components preferably using Spring boot.
  • Experience with version control system such as Git & Bitbucket.
  • Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent Java skills, Understanding of Spring framework & MVC approach.
  • Strong knowledge of Performance optimization and caching techniques.
  • Strong Object Oriented Programming concepts, data structure and algorithms.
  • Good experience with databases and Schema design.
  • Knowledge on Postman and SoapUi.
  • Knowledge on build tools like Maven & Gradle.
  • Nice to have Jenkins and CI/CD Knowledge.

Job Title: Head, IT Operations

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

  • Provide overall leadership, control and decision-making and take responsibility for the IT Infrastructure (DC, CCT, NWSM, Tools, Etc) & Operations Team in line with business expectations covering all business and enterprise systems and solutions to ensure 24×7 timely service delivery, availability, and supportability to Airtel Nigeria customers and internal business functions to ensure the achievement of the set business goals.

Key Accountabilities
Manage and Control Infrastructure delivery:

Relevant Experience:

  • 8-10 years with a minimum of 3 years in management role preferably within the Telecoms industry.
  • Experience on Implementation and operation of SLA’s and OLA’s delivery services to multiple business units/customers
  • Experience on managing diverse and complex platforms and environments

  • Airtel maintains an ecosystem of business support systems, to run our business operations towards customers.
  • We are currently in need of an experienced engineer, responsible for supporting our B/OSS stack, and its ancillary tools and utilities.
  • The engineer in this role, will support the end-to-end subscriber lifecycle for postpaid, hybrid, prepaid customers, in the GSM, Enterprise, FTTH, Airtel Money, and other customer domains. Services managed, will include, but not limited to provisioning, CRM, billing, order orchestration, order fulfillment and maintaining the product catalog.
