Job Title: Power Service Specialist

Location: Agbara, Ogun
Employment Type: Full Time

Job Purpose

  • To ensure constant repair and maintenance of power plant machines and equipment for effective production.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure smooth running of power plants (Aggreko and Diesel engines) to avoid unplanned shutdown
  • Ensure uninterrupted supply of compressed air (both process and instrument air) to the factory at all times and daily/routine checks on equipment.
  • Ensure smooth change-over of power during power outage and communicate effectively with electrical team to achieve this.
  • Proper tagging of machine parameters and logbooks for record purposes.
  • Ensure all equipment are operated and effectively maintained according to Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) regulations, with the right Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) being used
  • Ensure employees comply with relevant Quality Management System (QMS), food safety, Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series (OHSAS) & Environmental Management System (EMS) policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 1 – 3 years’ experience in Glass or related industry
  • Knowledge of equipment handing, preventive maintenance and routine maintenance of Centrifugal compressors, screw compressors, Refrigerant Air Dryers
  • Knowledge of cooling towers operation, Diesel, Gas generator and Gas turbine operation and maintenance
  • Ability to handle natural gas and Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) equipment
  • Ability to operate centrifugal water pumps
  • Good communication skills – oral and written.

Job Title: Procurement Supervisor – Technical

Location: Agbara, Ogun
Employment Type: Full Time

Job purpose

  • Oversee efficient and cost-effective procurement and delivery of materials to support Plant operations.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely and cost-efficient procurement of high technical quality materials and ensure optimal level of these materials at all times.
  • Ensure that the suppliers comply with company’s standards and specifications.
  • Maintain records of all registered and approved technical suppliers and sub-contractors and ensure their re­evaluation/re-certification is periodically done in line with company’s policy and update relevant records accordingly.
  • Obtain quotations and proposals from technical vendors and contractors and analyze same for cost effectiveness and submit for relevant approvals.
  • Ensure prompt negotiation and conclude technical materials Local Purchasing Orders (LPOs) within prescribed authority limit. Ensure correctness of all details in the purchase orders while delivery is scheduled in a way to ensure hitch free operations.
  • Follow up appropriately on vendors’ bills and ensure bills/invoices are paid in line with company’s policies and agreed terms.
  • Enforce strict time management in respect to attention given to suppliers on delivery of goods and provision of services.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant Quality Management System (QMS), Food Safety, Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series (OHSAS) & Environmental Management Systems (EMS) policies and procedures among employees
  • Maintain the Plant’s Spend Analysis for all technical materials to support market survey/intelligent.
  • Produce regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis or as may be required.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Supply Chain, Accounting, Economics, Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • 4 – 6 years cognate work experience from the manufacturing sector.
  • Member of relevant professional body is an added advantage.
  • Procurement and Logistics skills
  • Negotiation, Collaborative and Planning skills
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office applications, (Microsoft word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).

Job Title: Cold End Maintenance Specialist

Location: Agbara, Ogun
Employment Type: Full Time

Job Purpose

  • To ensure optimum engineering services are provided to Cold End section and other related areas on the production floor.
  • This position also has responsibilities for availability of machinery and equipment and minimal down time.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all project activities are achieved within agreed time limits and in line with approved budget
  • Repair and maintain Plant machinery & equipment such as coating & inspection machines
  • (bottle separator, palletizers, conveyors and other related machines)
  • Perform job change & set-up all Cold End & Printing machines
  • Re-set inspection machines to reject challenged samples/defect bottles as requested by Quality Assurance Department
  • Repair or replace devices as cylinders, sensors, worn-out or damaged electrical/electronic
  • components or mechanical parts
  • Report in detail all activities performed in his shift and fill up Cold End maintenance forms.
  • Participate in plant safety, health, & environmental programs.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical Electronics Engineering or related field
  • 1 – 3 years experience in bottle manufacturing plant
  • Knowledge of Programmable Logic Control (PLC) is an added advantage
  • Analytical thinking
  • Good report writing skills.
