In addition, she must be trustworthy and accountable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Core Responsibilities Include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Counting of stock (weekly, monthly, quarterly), stock reconciliation and sign off. daily recounting of stock<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of daily sales report and reconciling with cashier and storekeeper registers<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring of cash lodgements and other deposits to bank<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of monthly Bank scheme and Bank promo report to Head Office Finance for credit note in favour of the branch<\/li>\n<li>Confirmation of LTO and LTI issued and weekly sign off by Accountant, Storekeeper and Manager<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of Monthly Bank Reconciliation for various banks and flagging of lodgements not credited by Customers or to Suppliers.<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of Branch Monthly Payroll<\/li>\n<li>Weekly preparation of Imprest and Imprest analysis report<\/li>\n<li>Make Audit returns &#8211; sales invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, tellers, etc.<br \/>\nmonthly preparation of the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Schedule of goods returned to CWH with GRN confirmations received &amp; including LTI<\/li>\n<li>Interbranch supply &#8211; confirm that credits have been received by all branches releasing goods<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Maintenance and report on Inter branch\/Head Office current accounts to Head Office Finance<\/li>\n<li>Confirmation of goods received from Central Warehouse or from Hub Warehouses<\/li>\n<li>Weekly Stock Count Reconciliation and report submitted to audit, signed off by Accountant and Storekeeper<\/li>\n<li>Monthly preparation of GRN and the schedules for Local purchases sent to Audit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Experience \/ Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of HND \/ B.Sc. in Finance, Accounting or any other related field (Membership of a recognized professional body i.e. ICAN, ACCA will be an added advantage)<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 3 years\u2019 experience in a similar role.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Application Closing Date<\/strong><br \/>\n14th February, 2024.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Method of Application<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/careers.simsng.com\/job\/branch-accountants-25-01-2024\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here to apply online<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong>\u00a0Applicants must include Uyo as the location for the role to which they have applied.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":2412,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"Lagos","_application":"http:\/\/www.simscareers.com.ng\/login.php?e=Please%20login%20to%20continue","_company_name":"Sims Nigeria Limited","_company_website":"https:\/\/graduatejob.com.ng\/","_company_tagline":"SIMS Nigeria Limited - We specialize in the assembly, distribution and sales of consumer electronics from major brands such as - Samsung, Panasonic, Royal, Skyworth, Electrolux, Bosch, Philips and Powermatic.
